Translation

1–2 In the fluid of conception the substance was created.

3–4 The flesh (and) the tissue have created the homunculus.

5–7 In the water of the ocean, so fierce, so powerful, in the subterranean body of water, so remote,

8–10 in the place where the little-one, his hands are bound, his eyes are covered, not seeing the light,

11–13 (there) Ea noticed him. Asalluḫi opened for him the path, made the road ready for him, (saying:) “May Šamaš set you to freedom!”

14 tu-en-ni-in-nu-ra
