Translation

Anum created her, Ea brought her up,

a face of a lioness Enlil fixed for her.

She is short of hands, very long

of fingers, as to her nails

she is very long, her two forearms are smeared(?).

She entered the door of the house,

       slipping through the door socket.

Once slipped through the door socket, she saw the child.

She seized it seven times in his abdomen.

      Take off your nails,

      drop off your arms,

      before he has reached you,

      the wise-of-work, Ea the hero!

The door socket is wide (enough) for you, open are the doors:

      Go, walk about the steppe!

     With dust your mouth,

      With a whirl-wind your face,

      With cress seeds finely ground

I will verily fill your eyes!

I conjure you by Ea's curse:

      You must go away!
