5 It seized the heart of the sheep in the fo[ld],
6–7 It seized the heart of so-and-so son of so-and-so whose god is so-and-so (and) his goddess is so-and-so,
8 I conjure you by the earth and the lakes:
9 “Release the heart of Šamaš who tore you off!
10 Release (the heart) of [Sî]n the sh[epherd]!

12 Release [seized the heart of the sheep] in the fold!
