Translation

1          It is the yellow of the steppe,

2          it is the black of the house.

3          it is the soaring one of the sky,

4          It is the rushing one of the shrubs.

5–6      The one spread with the dust of its mountain of origin,

7­–8      Its shoulders – a brick, its middle part – a water-skin.

9–10    May the brick be broken! May the water-skin be torn!

11–12  May the torch of its tail and its two horns be extinguished!

13        Sȋn built his house.

14–15  [While] building his house, while turning over the brick pile,

16–17  [a bri]ck stung Sȋn’s little finger.
