2 The guide of the god Erra,
3 the weeper(?) of all winds,
4–6 who was cut-off in her prime like a fresh fruit.
7–10 The (girls) spend(f.) time in dancing everyday,
11 The (girls) keep twirling in celebration.
12 At their shout the street shuts away.
13–14 A bridegroom did not deflower her.
17–18 She was canny, she left her parental house.
19–20 She was despised for not [giving birth to] a child.
21–24 And so, her husband, an evil storm, and she, a phantom, are roaming in the steppe.
25–27 I conjure you(f.) by Anum and Antum, Enšēda and Ḫadaniš:
28–29 You will not enter to the house which I enter!
30–31 [Where] I spit you will not touch!
